About StakeMate

StakeMate is built on a simple belief: goals become harder to ignore when someone you trust can see the promise. Instead of relying on another private streak or notification, you choose a measurable finish line, put a small stake behind it, and invite a friend to witness the work.

We want accountability to feel social and focused—not heavy or punitive. Referees can confirm progress from a text link without downloading an app, successful users get their stake back, and missed stakes go to the destination chosen before the goal began.

The mission is to help runners, students, creators, and determined procrastinators turn “I should” into “I did.”
